Meal Service

School Meal Service - Updated 4/15/2021

All Finley students will begin in-person learning four days per week on April 19, 2021. Effective April 19, 2021, school meal service will operate as follows:

  1. ALL students eat free (includes one breakfast and one lunch each day, Monday-Friday).
  2. Students must be enrolled in Finley School District in order to receive meals.
  3. The District will only deliver meals by bus on Wednesdays. These are remote learning days for ALL students, and all enrolled Finley students may receive their meals at the bus stops.
  4. FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS ONLY: On days that K-5 students attend school in-person (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday), they will:
    • Receive and eat lunch at school; and
    • Receive a pre-packaged breakfast to take home at the end of the school day to be eaten the following morning.
    • K-5th grade students will not eat breakfast at school.*
  5. Students enrolled in the Online-Only option will need to complete the Online Pre-Order Form. Their meal box will be available for pick-up on Wednesdays at their regular bus stop.
  6. All students and families need to wear face masks and socially distance when picking up meals.
  7. Some food will need to be refrigerated immediately. Please follow instructions on food preparation and handling that comes with every meal.
  8. Anyone with meal delivery questions is encouraged to contact the District Office at 509-586-3217.

* If a K-5 student is absent, he/she will be provided a breakfast on the day they return to school and be allowed to eat breakfast in their first period class.
