Parents & Students

Looking for a way to be involved with your child's school?

The Finley School District promotes the involvement of parents and other family members in the educational programs of our children. The district seeks to establish partnerships with parents and community members to encourage literacy, service, participation, and communication. Information related to school and parent programs, meetings, and activities is available in alternative formats, upon request. Please refer to District Policies #4130 and #2108 (as required by Title I Part A).

School Board Meetings are the 3rd Monday of each month unless otherwise noted. Meetings are held at the District Office and start at 7 PM. Parents, community members and students are invited to attend meetings. Meeting agendas are printed in the Tri-City Herald the Sunday before the meeting date and posted on the District's website. A sign-in sheet for attendance and audience participation is located at the back of the meeting room. Please sign in if you wish to address the Board.

The RVHS Booster Club meets the first Wednesday of each month in the RVHS Library at 7:00 p.m. Come join in supporting our schools.

The Parent Teacher Groups at the Elementary and Middle Schools meet monthly. Please contact the schools for more information.

The District encourages parents and community members to volunteer at the schools. Volunteer must complete a Request to Volunteer Form and be approved to volunteer.
