On Thursday, October 17th, Finley schools received a special visit from State Representative Skyler Rude. Finley is one of 17 school districts in the 16th legislative district Rude represents. In reaching out to area schools, Rep. Rude stated, “My goal is to shadow teachers…gaining exposure to day to day operations including teacher lesson planning, nutritional issues/food service, special education, paraeducator shadowing, administrative support, etc.”

Representative Rude visited all three of Finley’s schools on the 17th, sitting in on classes and a GLAD training, visiting Finley’s CTE building, and discussing K-12 issues specific to Finley with administrators and teachers.
